The 2006 vintage yield
2006: August was fairly fresh, with sufficient rainfall for plant physiology, enabling the grapevines to bring their grapes to the right degree of ripening.
The fairly broad night-day temperature excursions on the one hand helped the grapes reach optimum ripening, on the other caused a slight decrease in production volumes. This harvest was remarkably good as to quality and is a harbinger of wines of great excellence.
